OMT Countdown to Glory: 15 days until Bush is gone

The Obamas are moving to Washington today, about two weeks early, mostly so that the kids can get started in school.
But it can’t come too soon for us. Just the very idea that the Obamas are in Washington now cements in the idea that George Bush is on his way out. That in a little more than two weeks we’ll finally have reasoning adults in control of the government once again.
Talk about a countdown to glory …
Reasoning maybe, but untested none the less. While it’s true and I must agree that new blood in the white house is needed, I’m still not 100% convinced that a one term senator who spent at lest 2 years on the campaign trail is what we need. Perhaps I’m wrong in how I feel. I also don’t mean that McCain was answer either, I’m just waiting for the proverbial “other shoe to drop.” I hope that my fears are unfounded, but as they say, only time will tell.
